This is an independent wine-travel research and planning site focused on the Finger Lakes. I built it because useful information about the region is surprisingly fragmented. We do not claim to have personally visited or tested every winery, tour or service mentioned on the site. Recommendations and comparisons may draw on official winery and operator information, current pricing and schedules, geographic and route considerations, tourism research, public records and visitor feedback. Where information cannot be independently confirmed, I try to make that clear rather than present an estimate as a fact.

Research is an increasingly important part of the site.
